About Me

I grew up in California before moving to South Dakota. It's a different world there compared to our small town South Dakota roots. I have to say though, I sure fell in love with the big sky of South Dakota (there just isn't something quite like it!). The colors, the nature, the people, that's what made me fall in love with photography. I starting taking courses in high school and that's when I knew it brought me joy. I have to admit I put it on the back burner for some years before deciding it was the right fit for me. I thought I needed to have a "real job" or at least something that seemed more professional. When you are getting out of high school people don't encourage you to pursue the arts, and that's sad! It took me a long time to forget about that stigma. So here I am, 28 years old, and pursuing my dreams; to capture people's most precious moments, and make them memories they cant forget.
